Follow the path of the heart and have a laugh along the way!

What’s a duckbutt, you may be asking yourself.

Mika knows, but she's not telling.

Believe!
Are they birds from another planet?

No. (Some people may think they are part bird because they have upturned duck butts, which are covered with white feathers.)

Are duckbutts elves from another planet?

No. They do think it’s helpful to act like an elf during the winter holiday season.

What’s it like to talk with a duckbutt?

If you mention upside-down cake, they will ask if you have to be upside down to eat it.

Do the duckbutts have a secret identity?

Yes, they do!!!

Are the duckbutts tiny aliens from the planet, Umvalla?

Yes! The duckbutts are tiny healers who look like humans except for their duck butts, which are covered with white feathers. They are just three inches short. Here are the names of some of the duckbutts: Pisha, Trisha, Polleon, Pullanski, Rajeski, Dustinski, Spella, Stanson, Charlson, and Violetta.

Female duckbutts have long hair and big eyes. With curly brown hair, the male duckbutts, Polleon and Pullanski could almost be twins. (Polleon’s hair is lighter brown.)

Trisha is know for being adventurous, while Pisha is known for her compassionate heart.

Male duckbutts are protective. All duckbutts are kind-hearted.

An excerpt from THE GALAXY JUMP

EXT. FARM–TRAPEZE HANGING FROM A BIG TREE–MORNING

Sylvia’s swinging upside down on it. Peeking out from the base of the tree are three FAIRIES–the VIOLET FAIRY, the LILAC FAIRY, and the LILY OF THE VALLEY FAIRY.

The fairies are flying around, listening in, and playing about. Sylvia can’t see them, but the duckbutts can.

SYLVIA
Could I just ask, what you are. I mean, what do I call you, all of you?

PISHA
What are you?

TRISHA
Yes, where are your feathers?

SYLVIA
I don’t have any father, er, feathers.

POLLEON
Are you sure?

SYLVIA
Yes.

PULLANSKI
Have you checked?

SYLVIA
I don’t have to check. I just know I don’t. What are you called?

The duckbutts huddle together and talk it over in duckbutt language.

PULLANKSI
Buttducks, that’s the closest we can get to it. We’re buttducks.

Sylvia tries hard not to laugh.

SYLVIA
Buttducks? Really?

POLLEON
Wait, wait a minute.

They confer again.

POLLEON
Duckbutts, we’re duckbutts.

SYLVIA
Oh yes, that makes sense. Duckbutts.

She turns her head and pretends to cough to cover the giggles. The fairies laugh so hard that they fall down.
